A Look at Walmart’s ‘Fun’draising in Maine

Walmart is fundraising for The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital (BBCH) and having a blast while they’re at it! From wearing tutus to selling popcorn to face painting, Walmart locations across Maine and New Hampshire are getting creative to gather donations and #HelpKidsLiveBetter – and the fun doesn’t stop there! Check out some more awesome campaign highlights below.

Augusta

Augusta Walmart associates had a blast selling popcorn to their customers, with all of the proceeds benefitting BBCH! A tasty way to support local kids!

Biddeford

An assistant store manager at the Biddeford Walmart put a spin on fundraising by sporting a tutu at work to raise awareness about the campaign and collect donations.

Oxford

Oxford Walmart associates showed their artistic sides with face painting to raise awareness about this year’s campaign.

North Conway

It looks like North Conway might be having the most fun of all! Associates celebrated the sixth birthday of our Champion, Brayden Austin, with cake and a poster full of birthday wishes. Continuing with the sweet fun, the management team took pies to the face and raised an admirable $200 for BBCH. Finally, the United Bikers of New Hampshire paid a visit to the store and made Brayden Douglass, the son of assistant store manager Todd, an official member of their group. Brayden, a former BBCH patient himself, stuck around and collected $363.62 in donations!

We can’t thank our friends at Walmart enough for all of the creative ways they’re raising money for BBCH. Until July 7th, consider making a donation at your local Walmart or Sam’s Club, grab some popcorn, and #HelpKidsLiveBetter!
