99.9 The Wolf and Erik’s Church Celebrate More Than $38,000 Raised for The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital

Erik’s Church in Windham and Country 99.9 The Wolf are celebrating more than $38,000 raised this week for The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital (BBCH) thanks to the support of country music artists, Michael Ray, Ashley Cooke and Meghan Patrick.

On Tuesday and Wednesday night, Ray, Cooke and Patrick took the stage to share their talents and their stories with an intimate crowd at Erik’s Church. 100% of the proceeds from every ticket sold benefitted BBCH.

Each night featured a local family who relies on the care provided at Maine’s only children’s hospital. One could hear a pin drop as each family spoke, serving as the inspiration behind the more than $20,000 in donations that concert attendees contributed through a paddle raise and live auction. On both occasions, Michael Ray, whose music career boasts of multiple #1 singles, took the time to underscore the importance of community and taking care of our neighbors.

“We are humbled and honored to be able to help out such an important organization and place for so many, not just in our listening area, but for those that rely on the services of The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital across the entire state of Maine,” said Chris Clare, Director of Country Programming for Binnie Media. “To be able to include our partners from Nashville brings it full circle in uniting us for the same cause, passion and purpose.”

This year marks the third consecutive collaboration between Erik’s Church and The Wolf, uniting to showcase the finest talents from Nashville in benefit concerts supporting BBCH.

This brings the total raised for The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital through these annual benefit concerts to over $110,000 in just three years. Missed this week’s events?
