Kids Helping Kids: Kennedy’s Miracle Birthday

Last Thursday, April 19th was Kennedy’s 8th birthday! This year, Kennedy has decided to do something extra special to celebrate her big day….she has decided to donate her birthday to the kids at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital. Through the My Miracle Birthday program, Kennedy has invited her friends and family to make a donation to BBCH in honor of her birthday, rather than buying her a gift. When we asked Kennedy why she decided to mark the occasion in this unique way, here was her response:

“I wanted to donate to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital because the doctors and nurses helped me when I was there, and this money could help other kids that are sick.”
