Danica and her friends recently celebrated her 11th birthday with a party at a local climbing gym… but that’s not all! Instead of asking for presents, Danica asked her friends and family to make gifts to The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in honor of her birthday, part of our My Miracle Birthday program! Yesterday afternoon, Danica and her friends stopped by BBCH to share how much she raised- check out this amazing donation!
Seeing Danica today you’d never guess that she only weighed about 2 pounds when she was born- or that she spent time in the NICU at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital (BBCH). Danica’s brother and a friend also spent time at BBCH, and these experiences helped inspire Danica to give back and help other kids.
