Shop the BBCH Walmart Registry for Good this Holiday Season!

The elves at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital (BBCH) are gearing up for the holidays!

As you can imagine, the 2020 holiday season will look very different at BBCH this year.

Our teams are working hard to make sure that our patients can still participate in traditional holiday activities and celebrations. However, for patient safety and infection control, we have also made changes to our holiday donation procedures. Unfortunately, we cannot accept in person donations at the hospital this year. But, you can still send presents to BBCH patients through our Walmart Registry for Good page.

Shopping on our Walmart registry is an easy way to send donations to BBCH! Plus, who doesn’t love shopping in their PJs? If you’ve ever placed an order on Walmart.com before, the process is very similar.

Check out the simple instructions below:

1. Visit: https://www.walmart.com/registry/registryforgood/d197fae9-1fcd-4d63-8bed-97f18640c20a/view
2. Browse the items in our registry and hit “add to cart” on any items you’d like to purchase.
3. Once you select the items you’d like to purchase, click the shopping cart icon on the top right hand corner of the screen to begin the checkout process.
4. Within the shopping cart you can change the quantity of each item. This is only necessary if you would like to send us multiples of one item.
5. Click the blue “check out” button on the right hand of the screen.
6. You may be prompted to sign into your Walmart account. If you do not have a Walmart account, click the “continue without an account” button.
7. Select the delivery date. Depending on what you order, there may or may not be an option to change the delivery date. Hit “continue” to proceed. Please note: this year all donations will need to quarantine before the BBCH holiday elves can sort and wrap them for our patients.  Therefore, we hope to receive gift donations by FRIDAY DECEMBER 18^TH.
8. Select a shipping address. The BBCH registry address will automatically appear on this screen. Please be sure the BBCH address is selected. Click “continue” to proceed. Please note: Walmart can only ship items to one address for each order. Please only have items from the BBCH registry in your cart. If you have personal items in your cart, they will also get shipped to us. We are unable to send you back items that were mistakenly send to us.
9. Enter your payment information.
10. Submit your order.

After you place your order, Walmart ships the items directly to BBCH just in time for the holidays! On behalf of our patients and their families, thank you for wanting to support the kids at BBCH this holiday season. We are grateful for such a generous community.
