Hold onto your keyboards, Team BBCH! Our annual Extra Life Gaming PC Giveaway is back- and bigger than before! 100% of funds raised benefit MaineHealth Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital (BBCH).

But first- what is Extra Life?

Extra Life unites thousands of gamers to play games to help support their local children’s hospital. Think of it kind of like a 5K, but with more dragons and fewer cramps: gaming while raising funds to support the children in our care. Find out more at bbch.org/ExtraLife

So yeah- you want to win, right? 🙂 This year, there are two main ways to win: either by making a donation to BBCH via our Extra Life page, or by Extra Lifing for BBCH (which includes multiple ways to earn entries). Check it out the details:

MAKE A DONATION TO BBCH via our Extra Life page between 10/14/24 and 11/6/24. Every $25 donation will earn you a chance to win! Please follow the directions on our page for donation.

EXTRA LIFE FOR BBCH: Registering for Extra Life is free, and all 2024 Extra Lifers registered to play for MaineHealth Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital (BBCH) may earn entries in the following ways:

FUNDRAISE: Score two entries for every $25 you fundraise for BBCH Extra Life between 10/14/24 – 11/6/24**. For example, if you fundraise $180 between 10/14 and 11/6, you will earn 14 entries.

DISCORD: You can also gain two extra entries by hopping into our Team BBCH Extra Life Discord and:

• Sharing your favorite game(s) in the “video-game-discussion” or “tabletop-discussion” channels (one entry) between 10/14- 11/6
• Sharing your stream in “your-streams-here” or share a fundraising tip or question in “fundraising-discussion” channels (one entry) between 10/14- 11/6

REFER A FRIEND: If you’re already registered to play for BBCH Extra Life in 2024, get a friend to sign up to play for BBCH Extra Life within the timeline of this contest, and you’ll both earn an entry (you just need to email me to tell me they registered)! Also, you can both earn double entries for the first $50 your newly-registered friend fundraises: they’ll earn (up to) 8 entries for the first $50 they fundraise- and we’ll give you (up to) 8 additional entries, too.

*We’re sorry, but you cannot choose which PC you’re entering to win. All entries will go into one big proverbial hat.
** Did you raise funds before 10/14? YOU ROCK! But they won’t unlock entries for this PC jackpot.

Entries will be tracked by BBCH Philanthropy staff. Winners will be selected randomly and will be notified ASAP after 11/7/24. Winners will need to collect their prize in-person at BBCH, or new this year, if you live more than 3 hours away, we can ship within the continental United States.
