Panda Cares Day!
Three cheers for our friends at Panda Express! August 8th is Panda Cares Day, and we’d like to celebrate the commitment of the Panda Express family to supporting patients and families cared for at CMN Hospitals- including The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital (BBCH)!
Panda Express supports BBCH year-round, but they are taking it up a notch on August 8th with a one-day virtual fundraiser. How can you help? Simply place an order on the Panda Express mobile app or website using the promo code “PandaCaresDay” on 8/8, and Panda will donate 28 percent of online sales to help the kids cared for at BBCH!
Every time that bell rings for a donation at the register, our local community benefits. And it all adds up! The Panda Express team at the Maine Mall donated a (record-breaking!!!) $27,385 to BBCH earlier this year! Not to mention the generosity of the whole Panda restaurant group who went out of their way to donate 30,000 surgical masks to BBCH and Maine Med, as hospitals across the country faced PPE shortages. Their dedication is incredible; just talk to the restaurant team and you’ll understand how hard they work, and how much it means to them to be able to support kids at BBCH.
