In the past we have touched upon the importance of teaming up with local game stores. Building relationships within the community can be very beneficial to Extra Life fundraising. Many local team members have started partnering with restaurants to host fundraising events. One in particular has been supporting The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital for over three years, Five Guys Burgers & Fries. They have a great community night program offering a percentage of sales and a place to setup a table to interact with customers. Sharing this information with other Extra Lifers across the country has led to many community nights supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. If you are wondering if your favorite restaurant offers the same kind of program, reaching out to a manager could boost your fundraising numbers. There are many restaurants in the area that offer very similar programs and are out there waiting to make a difference.
